All voyages start from the Bridgewater Marina moorings in Boothstown. You then have the choice to go North towards the towns of Astley Green (with its mining museum and preserved pit head winding mechanism) and Leigh (to join the Leeds & Liverpool canal); or South through Salford into Manchester’s Castlefield Basin, and then on to the picturesque Cheshire countryside and quaint canal towns such as Lymm (and to join the Trent & Mersey canal).

Whichever route you take, we'll supply all the information you need regarding attractions, pubs, restaurants, sites of historical or natural interest, and suitable overnight moorings.
